On 13 March 2023, the cooling time extension at the existing HWS moulding plant was put into operation in the foundry in Lohr am Main.
In addition to the existing cooling lines, a 4-deck cooling house was installed in a building particularly set up for this purpose with a floor area of over 500 square metres. With the new additional 400 moulding boxes, the existing cooling time could be increased by more than 3 hours.
The installation works carried out by our company were realized parallel to the existing production operation and did not affect the output of the moulding plant.
