hws is a member of the worldwide Sintokogio Group, and is today a leading manufacturer of moulding machines and related products for lines for the manufacture of hight quality moulds for the foundry.

The head office of the organisation is in Bad Laasphe. Departments for administration, Development and Design, and Assembly of Moulding Machines and Lines, and for the associate hydraulic and electrical equipment, and also the paint shop and the despatch department, are all distributed between three building complexes at this location.

CNC Controlled Lines at the  Amalienhütte plant

At the branch works in Amalienhütte, not far from the main works, is the machine shop and fabricating department. Complex welded structures are produced using modern CNC controlled machines. The Sawing Centre, integrated into this plant, operates fully automatically.

Quality to us means meeting the agreed production requirements and maintaining the agreed completion schedules. The relationship between technical achievement and cost must be optimised. Fitness for purpose, product quality and service must meet the high demands set by our customers in full.

Constant endeavour to improve is the fundamental basis for ongoing redefinition of quality aims. Our intention is to build up long-term trusting relationships with our customers and suppliers. Helpful and effective reaction to wishes expressed by either party, based on respect and trust, is fundamental.

Our Quality Management System was given recognition under Quality Standard DIN EN ISO 9001, certified in 1997 by TÜV Rheinland.

Our Moulding Machines, Moulding Lines and Service enjoy an excellent reputation in the industry. We consider it our fundamental duty to protect the good name that we enjoy and to endeavour to improve it even further.

In July 2010 one further audit was successfully completed.
