| The coarse moulding sand is fed to a brush roller arranged
on the outfeed side of the sand hopper. The brush roller is equipped with
steel bristles and rotates alongside a fixed panel so as to provide a restricted
space through which the sand must pass. Sand lumps are broken up and passed
through as fine sand grains. The rotary movement of the brush causes the
sand to be thrown against the pattern tangentially.
- Faultless filling of tight pattern pockets
- Accurate contour reproduction of complex pattern zones
- Significant improvement in surface structure
- Improvement of compacting effect
